I saw myself sitting in the crotch of this fig tree, starving to death, just because I couldn't make up my mind which of the figs I would choose. I wanted each and every one of them, but choosing one meant losing all the rest, and, as I sat there, unable to decide, the figs began to wrinkle and go black, and, one by one, they plopped to the ground at my feet. |

I have a lot of time on my hands at the moment. No high school, ever again. Spring break, a week early. I just got this sweet new laptop as a graduation present. Things appear to be excellent, and they are. I won't talk about all the things that are wrong, because they're silly, but despite all the amazing things that are going on around me, I have this disgusting nauseus feeling in the pit of my stomach and it won't seem to go away. I'm pretty sure I know why it's there, but it really doesn't make sense.
I'm trying to load this absolutely adorable picture I took of me and billy with my fancy little webcam built into this new computer but it's not cooperating. I'm really sorry, the picture is just great.
this is how I feel about the irrational and ilogical thoughts that I can't get out of my head at the moment:

I really like Jens Lekman.
I need to get out of the house for a while. I'm not sure what to go do. I have an overwhelmingly huge range of options.

In the new year i want to
make some new friends at school
and graduate soon
basically.
I really wish I could go see the Basquiat exhibit at the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston.
Over the break I have been somewhat of a hermitt- sewing and watching Twin Peaks and spending my christmas money. It's been nice.
Tonight I'm going to see Memoirs of a Geisha with Tim and I'm going to love it.

we want a band that plays loud and hard every night and doesn't care how many people are counted at the door that would travel one million miles and ask for nothing more than a plate of food and a place to rest. they'd strike chords that cut like a knife it would mean so much more than t-shirts or a ticket stub, they'd stop at nothing short of a massacre. everyone would leave with the memory that there was no place else in the world and this was where they always belonged. we would dance like no one was watching with one fist in the air. our arenas just basements and bookstores across an underground america. with this fire we could light with this fire we could. just gimme a scene where the music is free and the beer is not the life of the party. there's no need to shit talk or impress 'cause honesty and emotion are not looked down upon. and every promise that's made and bragged is meant if not kept. we'd do it all because we have to, not because we know why beyond a gender, race, and class, we could find what really holds us back. let's make everybody sing that they are the beginning and ending of everything that we all are stronger than everything they taught us that we should fear.

yesterday i exercised for the first time in basically forever. Midnight soccer. im sore! what the heckkk
I got my sewing machine today and its pretty sweet
i've been playing on it all morning.
hemming dresses and jeans and making tote bags etccc
nice.
my skin is breaking out andi don't know whyyy!!1
frustrating.
eleanor has had my ipod for about 2 months
what!! im too lazy to get it.
and to caitlyn bailey if you read this: do you still have that pink dress of mine?

i saw king kong the other day and im permenantly traumatized by how sad it was. I cried for like the whole last hour of the movie. i couldn't BELIEVE how sad it wassss if i hadn't been with tim who really wanted to finish it, i would have walked out just because i was miserable. It's a shame it was too sad to enjoy because i thought it was exciting and action-packed and great but just man...so flfja;sfsadddd.

I've been taking a break from pretty much everyone because i've been sick of a lot of things etcetc i dont want to talk about it but besides that yes this little break has been nice.
I'm so excited about finally learning to sew
even though all i have so far is the faux-fur leopard print pillow i did in class
because i don't have my own sewing maching yet.
but i am getting one for christmas
hopefully this one:
I wanted to learn on my grandmother's old cavalier which is silvery blue and chrome and really neat but it's broken so pooey.
i'm so ahead of my game on christmas shopping this year AND WITHOUT A JOB
pretty amazing.
by the way my mouth tastes like salsa. cool/gross.

It's really great to literally not want to let go of someone and to squeeze them as hard as you can because you're hoping if you get close enough maybe you could melt into once person and always feel warm and never be lonely.
It's great when every form of physical contact, from holding hands, to spooning, to kisses on the neck, is an incredibly emotional experience.
It's great to be told you look beautiful when you're wearing old pajama pants and you haven't washed your hair in 6 days.
